Furthermore, you must have a rooted tablet with ClockworkMod Recovery and you must have the Samsung USB Driver for Mobile Phones installed on your computer. Most importantly, we are not liable for any damages that may happen to your tablet during and after the installation. If you are willing to the take the risk, read on :
Step 1: Download the CyanogenMod 9 update package for Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Wi-Fi) at this link and save to your computer.
Step 2: Using a USB data cable, connect the tablet to your computer. Copy the file that you have downloaded from the above step and save to your tablet’s main storage drive.
Step 3: Disconnect the tablet from your computer. Turn off your Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Step 4: Reboot to ClockworkMod Recovery by holding the Volume Down key while pressing the Power button until you get to see a list of options. Choose “Recovery Mode”.
Step 5: In Recovery Mode, create a backup of your existing system by selecting the “backup and restore” option.
Step 6: Select “Wide data / factory reset” then choose “Wipe Cache Partition”. Once done, go to Advanced Menu then choose “Wipe Dalvik cache”.
Step 7: Return to the main screen. Select “Install Zip from sd card” then “Choose Zip from sd card”. Locate and select the ROM file from Step 2. This will flash the ROM into your tablet. Select “Yes” when prompted.
Step 8: Wait until the installation completes. Once done, you will be taken back to the main screen. Choose “Reboot System Now” to reboot your tablet.
Keep in mind that this is a pre-alpha/preview build of Android 4.0 ICS. Thus, do not be surprised if ever you get to encounter some bugs or glitches.
